A Non-Review by Prof. Popinjay

This film is a beautiful cornucopia of humanity. Every single character with whom the main character interacts is a different race, creed, and/or persuasion. Without exception each example is celebrated for the addition of their culture to the melting pot but are at the same time presented in a very realistic non-stereotypical way, even allowing for very human personal fallacies at times. No, not everyone got along in this film. Not everyone was nice. Societal problems were evident and the need for change was heavily implied but the core of this film’s message was undeniably stating that despite our origins, every person should be celebrated, valued, respected, loved.
