What happens when Pa finds an old movie-film video recorder and has the kids for the weekend? This movie! That’s what I assumed was the situation anyway. Imagine my surprise when I learn that’s exactly what happened.

——-One critic said this film is basically a glorified home video and there’s not much more to say after that. Two kids are chased into the woods and by chased I mean they walk into the woods while some “hilarious” villains meander after them. If you can’t stand the suspense I’ll tell you, they never do catch up with the children or at least I don’t remember if they do. OMG my heart was in my throat with all the suspense.

——-Even as a lover of cute sweet innocent movies made by Pa an’ th’ kids, this was boring as all get out. I watched it at 2 times the speed and that just wasn’t fast enough to ward off my anticipatory squirming as I waited for this thing to end. Anyone Pa forced to watch this has my deepest sympathies. I liked when the kids were kind to the crazy trapper without any thought of reward. That was sweet. Anyway, I’m glad Pa had fun with his kids. The end.
