…or as I like to call it, King Kong Lite. This is a story of a not quite small but not quite so big gorilla. He’s bigger than the average gorilla but smaller than your average giant gorilla. He’s medium. He’s the littlest giant. That oughta do it.

——The story of the making of this movie is peppered with facts, facts of all sorts. You’ll never believe how many facts were used in the making of this movie. If you watch the special dvd features, it’s literally just one fact after another. Sometimes two. Unfortunately I only had a vhs copy and I didn’t get to hear any of these facts so neither do you because that’s how it happened to me.

——This film was a remake of Mighty Joe Old. Check it out. It’s a marvel of special effects ingenuity stolen from the original King Kong. You know what I liked best about it? Of course you don’t! That’s why you’re reading this! Well, far be it from me to disappoint.

——Anyway, let’s move on. This film was made back in the era when the villain didn’t need any motivation to be evil so long as he was despicably evil. And despicable he was! Believe you me you!

——-Reprising his role in The Terminator and Aliens, Bill Paxton was also in this movie but unfortunately when they took the photo for the movie poster he was standing behind the gorilla. Sucks to be you Bill!

——I liked this movie. The end.
