A Poetic Non-review by Prof. Popinjay
‘’Twas with great merriment I hath viewed this play.
The players did play it so well.
Washington, Thompson and Branagh portray
roles assumed or lived, I can’t tell.
A villain there was in Keanu, I see.
Though why him, I must inquire.
A lowly position was this for he
The part could have been played by a squire.
Lo when the Bard writes and parts must be played,
these parts are snatched up by all in the trade.
Michael Keaton was insane, His fart jokes, a riot
Me thinks the ghost with the most did alight.
If you fancy Shakespeare, I prithee, do try it
This version is more than alright.
If Ol’ Willy’s not for thee and you can’t comprehend
Then watch your Pirates part Three
Or perhaps if it pleases, I might recommend
One in a pineapple under the sea.
In parting I must querry with my final breath,
Why do clergy so oft suggest feigning death?
