Mutiny! (1952)

A Non-Review by Professor Popinjay

This was short but well written. I like it when they don’t feel the need to flesh out a good concise story with a bunch of nonsense just to make it a full 90 minutes. Unless it’s necessary it can really slow the story down. The pacing of Mutiny! was perfect. Guess what! That lady on the box art? That’s Angela Freaking Lansbury! I told you she was hot! And she’s just as guilty in this as she is in the original Manchurian Candidate and Murder She Wrote. I tell you she is a piece of work in this film! As treacherous as they come! And conniving! I’m not used to seeing a woman in a film this old who is acting as any more than eye candy. I felt bad for the main character in this film. He was a good man in between a rock and a hard place a lot of the time. Good movie. I recommend it if you have an hour and 12 minutes to spare.

Angela Lansbury flaunting what she’s got. In this case: a large feathered hat.
