A Non-Review by Professor Popinjay

I saw this a while ago but I remember it being cute. I never saw a Dean Jones film I didn’t like. I appreciate a movie where the biggest problem they face is not some world shattering apocalypse. We don’t see a lot of simply quaint films these days. It makes me sad.

This is a funny story about a man who inherits a ski lodge and works to make it a success. You can’t get more quaint than that. His big problem? How to get the ski lift up to the top of the hill. How to get the money to fix up the lodge. Stuff like that.

No, it’s not going to knock your socks off with uproarious humor or suspense but sometimes it’s nice to watch a nice story about nice people who are doing nice things.
