Knives Out

A Non-Review by Professor Popinjay

I need to be careful here. I don’t want to give anything away. This is a mystery after all.

So when the giant chicken monster is revealed as the true murderer in the third act and Milford shoots it with his homemade coconut launcher, I was like “But who will raise little Fauntleroy!?!”

There. That should mix things up a bit. Now I can say whatever I want about this movie and no one will be the wiser.

Nah, this was fun. You got a ton of suspects. You got a bunch of motives and murder weapons. You got a big house with lots of rooms. This was like clue! Although not quite as funny… but it did have humor at times.

Does Daniel Craig do a nasally southern accent more often than his regular voice these days? Seems like he was doing the same accent in Logan Lucky. Then he did it again in the Glass Onion!

That’s a joke. I know Glass Onion is literally the sequel to Logan Lucky. God forbid I present any ignorance on the interweb. The Otakus would eat me alive.

Anyway, Logan Lucky, starring Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy, the Sequel to Rogue One: A BattleStar Galactica Story, is my favorite movie. I watch it every day because I love Star Trek. My favorite character? Gandalf, of course! Michael Caine kills in that role!

Yeah, I enjoyed Knives Out with the exception of that one kid. Nevermind that though. The rest was great. Awesome to see Christopher Plummer still working. There’s just not a whole lot I can say about the film without giving too much away so this is what you get.
