An explanation by Professor Popinjay

No this isn’t a non-review of the Chevy Chase “Vacation” films. Rest assured I’ll get to that. I’m taking an impromptu vacation from posting rapidly here. I’ve a lot on my plate with some art commissions.

While I like to keep mentally active with rapidfire non-reviews, I write about whatever the movie enables me to recollect. Most of the time it’s semi-amusing anecdotes I can rattle off the top of my head. Recently though, Disney’s film “Tall Tale” has triggered some deep ruminations that have required intense soul searching and seriously focused writing the likes of which I can’t just tap out willy-nilly between making pizzas.

It will probably result in a bunch of mumbo jumbo no one will want to read but I gotta do what I gotta do.
